Bucharest was one of my favourite trips I did back in 2023 - the city surprised me so much! Perfect hot and sunny weather, super affordable, soo much to see and do.

Sunny December days at Sirromet Winery ☀️

Our guide Sarah showed us around the grounds, talking to us about the different grapes, vineyards and the wines that are produced there. The winery is stunning and we even saw wallabies chilling out on the grass!

After the tour and seeing where the wine is made, we got to the good part, and got to taste:
1x sparkling
2x whites
2x reds
1x desert wine

The reds were my favourite, but I also loved the smokey Fiano 😍

Can’t stop thinking about this hike we did last week in Springbrook National Park! I love this national park and all of the hikes I’ve done there, but I think this one is my new favourite.

Despite going on a pretty moody and rainy day - and having to keep flicking leeches off our feet, legs and my arm, it was such a nice hike and so beautiful.

This one is Purling Brook Falls circuit track - around 4/5km. Incredible views, beautiful waterfalls and a fairly steep but manageable final incline 🥾

More Sunday hiking 🥾🤎

This week was the Witches Falls track in Mount Tamborine! The walk itself was soo pretty, and not difficult, just crazy sweaty because of the humidity. No leeches and no snakes, but a few giant lizards and some spiders 😵‍💫 (apparently this is a very snake-y track though so I think we were lucky!

The track was a 7km return but very bushy - glad we had someone with us who knew it well! 🤍
